It saves your time and always keeps you up-to-date by periodically checking these pages at set intervals and can run in the background with a tray icon. Check an unlimited number of websites, select which part of the page you want to check, schedule automatic checking at set intervals, notifies about changes with pop-ups and sounds. WebMonX is free/open-source software (licensed under GPLv2) and is a cross-platform (works on *nix and Windows) port of WebMon.
