Mozilla Sunbird is a cross-platform calendar application, built upon Mozilla Toolkit. Announced in July 2003, Sunbird is a standalone version of the now discontinued Mozilla Calendar Extension. It is currently developed as a standalone version of the Lightning extension for Mozilla Thunderbird that provides a calendar to the mail management application.
