Fraqtive

Fraqtive is an open source, multi-platform generator of the Mandelbrot family fractals. It uses very fast algorithms supporting SSE2 and multi-core processors. It generates high quality anti-aliased images and renders 3D scenes using OpenGL. It allows real-time navigation and dynamic generation of the Julia fractal preview.

The language used in Genius Mathematics Tool is designed to be ‘mathematical’ in the sense that it should be ‘what you mean is what you get’. Of course that is not an entirely attainable goal.

FLVGET

This is a script for Kommander. FLVGET downloads a video from a video website (YouTube, Google Video, BREAK.com, LIVEVIDEO, Mass Destruction, Ykers, YourDailyMedia.com, YourFileHost, ZappInternet, ...) and, if is a flash format video, offers the option to convert it to manifold formats (MPEG-4, DivX, XviD, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, H.264, Quicktime, iPod and PSP) using FFmpeg as back-end.

KMidimon

KMidimon is a MIDI monitor for Linux using the ALSA sequencer and KDE user interface. It monitors events coming from a MIDI external port or application via the ALSA sequencer. It is especially useful if you want to debug MIDI software or your MIDI setup. It features a nice graphical user interface, customizable event filters and sequencer parameters, support for all MIDI messages and some ALSA messages, and saving the recorded event list to a text file.

ALSA MIDI Kommander

KMetronome

This program is a MIDI metronome with KDE interface and based on the ALSA sequencer. The intended audience are musicians and music students. Like the solid, real metronomes it is a tool to keep the rhythm while playing musical instruments. It uses MIDI for sound generation instead of digital audio, allowing low CPU usage, and very accurate timing thanks to the ALSA sequencer.

Osmo

Osmo includes calendar, tasks manager and address book modules. It was designed to be a small, easy to use and good looking PIM tool to help to manage personal information. In its current state the organizer is quite convenient to use - for example, the user can perform nearly all operations using the keyboard. Also, a lot of parameters are configurable to meet the user's preferences. On the technical side, Osmo is GTK+ based tool which uses a plain XML database to store all personal data.
